A spontaneous trip

En route back to the centre after the orchids and butterfly farm we stopped off at some temples. This was a surprise visit as we drove past. They were all very different to any buildings we have back home, with very ornate white statues with gold decoration outside. The insides we even better. They had amazing paintings which told the story of the founder of the site and other tales. We saw lots of monks around the place and then we all had an ice cream. Then it was back on to the bus, for a quick stop at some markets. We saw fruit stalls that sold every fruit you could ever want and we went to another with lots of beautiful fabric and clothes. It was nice to see where the locals shop, but we were all very happy to get back to bus with the air conditioning!
